Front Page Magazine endorses Islamic reform

Salman Rushdie receives the backing of those well-known proponents of Islamic reform at Front Page Magazine. What with Ayaan Hirsi Ali and now Rushdie, there seems to be a growing trend for ex-Muslims to lecture their former co-religionists on the need for reform, and then get enthusiastically applauded by the Islamophobic Right. A sceptic might suggest that the call for "reform" provides a convenient cover for attacking a religion to which all of them are in fact bitterly opposed.
